I have been a devoted artist all my life. I discovered my love of glass in the early 1980’s and studied under masters including Boyce Lundstrom, co-founder of Bullseye Glass, and Michael Dupille, innovator of many warm glass techniques.
Early days were consumed with the creation of flame worked dichroic glass beads. More than 30 years later, these beads are all over the world used in jewelry designs and sold in many craft supply stores which have included Michaels’s Arts and Crafts, Joanne’s and Hobby Lobby.
Expanding on an idea explored by Paul Kimball, I have discovered a way to shape glass that requires no heat. ArtGlass Clay has been in development since 2010. I have a 90 COE and a 96 COE system with over 50 colors available. ArtGlass Clay is great for making jewelry and fusing components. Check on ArtGlassClay.com for firing schedules and ideas.
