For 50 years, Richard Jordan has utilized the lost wax casting process to create miniature sculpture in silver, gold, glass and precious gemstones.

Although primarily self-taught, he attended art schools in California and Australia. A fourth generation native Californian, his art reflects his travels across the Pacific Rim, Hawaii, Australia, Mexico and Central and South America in pursuit of surfing, adventure and artistic stimulation.

His work is further characterized by his keen interest in native cultures, historical and anatomical correctness and inspirational design. Above all, what makes the art of Richard Jordan so distinct is his sense of whimsy. Richard currently lives on California's Central Coast
